We are so happy to share our favorites from our styled shoot that we shot at The Barn at the Woods in Edmond, OK. We HAVE to brag on all of the vendors because they all did a spectacular job.

If you are looking for a barn styled wedding in Oklahoma City, we highly suggest you check out the Barn at the Woods! Andrew and Lauren were so great to work with! They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. They let us use the green couch that you will see below in the highlights and coordinated with the Bridal Boutique in Norman to help out with the two wedding dresses you will see below. Photographically, The Barn at the Woods is an amazing venue! It has so many different areas to photograph, I would call it a photographers playground. There is a large tree in the back of the house which would be a great backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony or you can use the side of the barn in case you have guests that cannot walk very far.

Hair and Makeup Artist: Beckie Kinard
I can’t stress again how helpful Beckie was. I met her and her husband at a Vendors Showcase. I asked her to help out with all of our styled shoots. Since Beckie has been doing hair for over 20 years, she skillfully put together Hannah’s hair. Halfway through the shoot, she changed the hair for a second look. Even though she was there to do hair, she marched around with us in the cold with us and helped out.

It was COLD! Don’t let the warm tones in the pictures fool you! The temperature that day was a high of 40 degrees and it didn’t help that it was windy. Hannah wore her jacket in-between shots to prevent her arms from going numb. She is such a delight to shoot for she’ll try some adventurous poses to do.

Lori arranged a beautiful arrangement of vibrant faux flowers They really brought out the color for the wide shots.

Dress: Bridal Boutique of Norman
The Bridal Boutique of Norman is amazing! They lent us two beautiful dresses- both were very classy and had alot of detail! I would highly recommend paying them a visit! Alex has a knack for what dresses look good!
